Are you ready to help?

Before you adopt a grid cell, please make sure that you have registered for the project on Bumble Bee Watch

Step 1: Find a Grid Cell

Use the map below to find a grid cell of interest. Green cells have not yet been adopted, yellow cells have a primary volunteer - but you can still add your name, red cells are no longer available for adoption, and blank cells were not included in our selection process (we still welcome incidental sightings in those locations, but they have not been selected for formal surveys). You can scroll in and out and change the layers as needed, see this page for guidance. As you scroll in closer, each cell will populate with a grid cell number - the state code followed by a number. Record the grid cell number of the cell you'd like to adopt and enter it in the form below the map (Step 2).

Step 2: Adopt your grid cell by filling out the form below.

If you are on a mobile device or otherwise having difficulty, you can find the entire form here: https://arcg.is/0yzrrv.

Step 3: Encourage others to adopt their grid cell today!
